We are delighted to announce that South Wales Miners' Museum has been awarded the 2017 Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. This is the highest award given to voluntary groups in the UK and is the equivalent of an MBE. Everyone here is extremely proud of all our volunteers and the time and effort they put into the museum, so we are overjoyed at this level of recognition for their hard work over the last 40 years.
We'd like to take the opportunity to thank all of our volunteers, past and present for helping to make South Wales Miners' Museum such a wonderful place to belong to.
Da Iawn a Diolch!
