Norena Shopland is a Welsh historian and author who focuses on research and history. She also writes about the history of Welsh women. Her latest project resulted in the launch of the exhibition Tip Girls in September 2021 at the National Coal Museum (Big Pit), showcasing the experiences of women both underground and above ground in the coal industry.
